my approach

I believe in the inherent worthiness of all human beings. I believe that prolonged stress, trauma, and adversity disconnects us from our innate wisdom. Psychotherapy becomes a space for remembering ourselves home and finding what’s true and most authentic to us.

Through curiosity and compassion, I help my clients befriend their nervous systems to build internal safety (“mehfooz”) as a base for deeper self-work and inquiry. Non-judgment is at the heart of my practice, as I strongly believe that we can’t fight ourselves out of deeply held beliefs, but rather we can learn to gently observe and tend to our wounded parts from a place of love and care. I aspire to help my clients build capacity for discomfort so that they are able to experience more freedom, play, and fulfillment in a world that tricks us into believing we don’t deserve these birth rights.
